Fashion is not just what happens on the runways, it is also about what happens outside and there's no better way to know what is currently in than checking out what other people wear. From fashion celebrities to regular people, hundreds of photographers around the globe walk the streets of the fashion capitals head for pedestrians and atendees to the big events and fashion shows to show the world how to adapt trends into street style and noticing all those little details in someone's look that are worthy of being noted.

I must admit that my first steps in the Blogosphere were surfing around blog drolling for the simple way that many had of showing haute couture in such a simple way down the streets of New York, so in this few last months I've put together a list of mi favorite blogs and today I bring you a top ten of those that I consider the best street style blogs, according to the content as well as web layout and navigation.

By all accounts, it seems like you might be right. From digital clean-outs to bold beauty trends and embracing the color of the year – there’s a lot to be excited about – and blog along the way.

Deseenme suerte!

Here it is, the official video from the great evening that I told you about in a previous post. I decided to wear a black skirt, white shirt and electric blue long blazer with the same leopard print shoes that I showed you in the how to stretch tight shoes post, plus a white vintage clutch. It was so much fun!

Tonight is the first day of the fashion shows and I still don't know what I'm gonna wear! I'll tell you about in the next few days. Wish me luck!

This wouldn't be a fashion blog if there wasn't a post about the marvelous and creative Anna Dello Russo. I've developed an healthy obsession with her and the way she has fun with fashion and what not. She's super inspiring and always showing a different side of her amazing and unique taste.

But who is Anna Dello Russo?

Dello Russo was born in 1962 in Bari, a city in the south of Italy. She has an M.A. degree in Italian Literature and Art History taken at the University of Bari and attended the Domus Academy in Milan. Before assuming her current position of Fashion Director and Editor-at-large at Vogue Japan, Dello Russo spent 18 years at Condé Nast Italia, as fashion editor at Vogue Italia and as editor of L'Uomo Vogue from 2000-2006.

Excentric, confident and one of a kind, what more can you ask for?

Last week, Alto Rosario (a local shopping mall located all over the country) launched a contest named 'Alto Rosario Fashion Blogger', looking for someone to become their own blogger and social media expert. All you had to do to participate is to write an essay about the urban fashion and trends of the women who buy in their stores, and upload a photo that illustrated what you wrote, so I decided to upload something and test my luck, inspired in the stereotype of a fashionista, adapting it to the experiencie that the hole mall provides.

I turned up to be one of the five finalist out of around a hundred applications and today we spent the morning shooting a video and some photos for the video that will be played in next week's events. We got to meet the judges personally and talk to them for a while and later the winner was announced. I saldy didn't win but I came home with an invitation to next week's fashion shows, flowers and some presents from two stores you can fin at the mall. I'm sure in a few days, they'll release the official video and I'll show how it was.

The prices were a backstage and VIP pass to Estilo Rosario (The closest to a local Fashion week that we have), a gift card to use at the mall and an all inclusive experience for Buenos Aires Fashion Week in March, 2013. Let's say that loosing is not the best but we had a great time and everybody spoilt us with Starbucks and presents, so it was totally worth it.

My congratulations for Celina, the winner, and greetings for my fellow finalists: Mariana, Bianca y Carmen.

Life is a constant search. Looking, listening, touching, talking, mourning, laughing, smiling, discovering... All is part of the exploratory nature of man (and I speak of man in his general way even though I find it unfair to use that word), part of his evolutionary instinct that is always looking to grow, mature and incorporate new things to its existence.

Life is a constant search ... Of perfection. Don't go crazy, this post is not about any kind of disorder or obsession, I'll explain more in order to understand why.
